Our verdict

MCA Debt Advisors ranks last on this list, and the file is not close. The Better Business Bureau grades it F, has not accredited it, and shows twenty-six complaints with seven of them never answered. The Google average is 3.5 across 169 reviews and Trustpilot sits at 2.8. Not one independent signal points the other way.

The complaint substance is the specific pattern our methodology treats as disqualifying: fees collected against little or no delivered work, with clients describing themselves as left in default while payments continued. That is the failure mode that makes an owner’s situation worse than it was before they called, which is the entire reason this site’s red-flags section exists.

The registered address is a virtual office. That is legal and common, and in combination with an unanswered F it means there is no verifiable place where this company sits and no verifiable person answering for it. Our disqualifier list names that combination explicitly.

We ranked this firm rather than omitting it because owners searching the name deserve to find something other than the company’s own marketing. Consider that the entire service this page provides.

What satisfied customers wrote

There are none. This company’s review average is 1.0 out of 5 across all 12 reviews on file, which is only arithmetically possible if every single one is a one-star. We looked for something positive to publish and there was nothing to find.

What complaints and critics wrote

“MCA Debt Advisors are nothing but thieves who will hustle hard working business owners out of their money while you are obviously already suffering financially!! They have the payments structured to be debited from your business bank account as an automatic clearinghouse ((ACH) payments because they know you have only 2 DAYS to dispute this type of transaction, It will take you more than 2 DAYS to realize that you have been hustled!! YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND THEY WILL NEVER SUCCESSFULLY NEGOTIATE AN ACCEPTABLE AND FAIR SETTLEMENT WITH YOUR CREDITOR!! They will offer your creditor a ridiculously low amount knowing that they will not accept it and in the meantime they are continuously siphoning money out of your account! By the time you catch on to their hustle, they have collected thousands from you and your creditor has received ZERO DOLLARS!!!! PLEASE TAKE THIS AS A WARNING AND DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR HUSTLE!!! Keep your money, try to work with your creditor directly and simply hang up on MCA DEBT ADVISORS every time they call you!! PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!!!”

“They are completely fraudulent. They misguide the clients and do not disclose their fees and charges. Their representatives provide misleading information when taking on a case. They overcharge and fail to negotiate with the other party. Stay away from their fraudulent practices.”

The company repliedWe appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns raised in this complaint. We made every effort to work with [name withheld] to achieve a successful outcome. However, [name withheld] payment history has significantly impacted our ability to move forward with negotiations. To provide a detailed timeline:May 11, 2024: [name withheld] returned the first payment.May 16, 2024: The re-represented payment was also returned.June 18, 2024: [name withheld] resumed payments, making two successful payments in June.Post-June 2024: Payments were returned again, and since June, [name withheld] has not cleared a payment.Due to these inconsistencies, Mr. [name withheld] account is currently under collection review. This review is necessary because his payment history has placed him in default, as outlined in his contract with us. The lack of a new agreement with his creditor is not due to any action or inaction on our part but rather the result of his inconsistent payments. We strive to provide the best possible service to our clients, but our ability to negotiate effectively depends on maintaining consistent communication and payment schedules. “I employed MCA Debt Advisors to assist me with lowering my payments to a creditor. They assured me and signed a contract saying that they would pay my creditor with they money I paid to MCA Debt Advisors. They did not. Furthermore, when I went out of business in October 2025, I requested s refund. They told me that of the $7,176.03 I paid, I would be refunded only $1,510.48 The fees they charged $5,665.55 Cancelation fee Attorney Invoice Fee Escrow Set up Escrow Monthly Maintenance $99 per month Servicing Fee It has now been 7 months and I am still waiting for my refund. They keep telling me that management releases payments monthly but I have not gotten anything. At 1.5% late fee per month on the running balanceowed, I figure they now owe me $191.06 in fees for a total of $1,701.54. Until I get paid, I will continue to report them as a bad company.”

Part of this list was compiled by Beacon Client Solutions, which is itself a debt-resolution firm and a competitor of most companies it names. We reproduce its entries because the captions are real and checkable, we verified what we could, and we label the rest rather than dropping them. Read the selection with its source in mind, ours included.

Court records are public and they change. A filed complaint contains allegations, not findings, and a case appearing here is not a conclusion that the company did anything wrong. Where a case ended, we say how it ended. Where we could not confirm a docket, we say that too. One limit worth knowing: free docket sources show only what someone has already paid to fetch, so a case we describe as open may have been resolved since the date shown against it. Treat every date here as the last time the record was refreshed, not as today. Last verified August 24, 2026.
