Regroup Partners review.

Business debt restructuring and settlement

A BBB A+, no upfront fees, and a deliberately small caseload. Also the firm a competitor’s list told us had shut down, which turned out not to be true.

Our verdict

Start with a correction, because we are the ones who owe it. A competitor-run ranking site reported that Regroup Partners ceased operations in 2026, and we repeated it here. It is not true. As of August 2026 the firm’s site is live and carries a current copyright, it markets actively, it publishes a Boca Raton address and a working phone number, and the BBB record shows no out-of-business indicator. The trust-account item that same source described turns out to be a BBB consumer complaint rather than litigation, and the trust language in it comes from the company’s own reply. That is a materially smaller thing than a lawsuit, and it is now described as what it is.

What we can verify is modest and mostly good. BBB rates the firm A+. The published model charges no upfront fees, which is the single most important structural test in this category and the one that disqualifies firms outright when they fail it. The firm says it handles roughly 200 files a year, and selectivity usually marks a shop that declines cases it does not believe it can win rather than one that enrolls everyone who calls.

The reasons it does not rank higher are about depth, not conduct. Twenty-nine Google reviews is a thin evidentiary base next to firms carrying several hundred. The structure is small. We could confirm no attorney model, which caps the legal factor. And pricing beyond the no-upfront-fee promise is unpublished, so the first call has to establish the entire fee schedule.

The wider lesson is worth stating plainly, because this site exists to make it. A rival firm published that a competitor was dead, we did not check, and it was wrong. Check the phone, check the address, check the BBB. Ours included.

What we like

  • No upfront fees under its published model, the test most firms here fail
  • BBB A+ on record
  • Deliberately small caseload, roughly 200 files a year
  • Verifiable address and a working phone, contrary to what a competitor’s list reported

What gave us pause

  • Only 29 Google reviews, a thin base for judging outcomes
  • Small shop, and no attorney model we could verify
  • Fee schedule beyond ‘no upfront fees’ is not published
  • A BBB consumer complaint touching trust-account handling, which a competitor’s list reported as something larger than it is

Who it’s for

  • Owners who want a small shop that declines cases it cannot win
  • Anyone who insists on a no-upfront-fee structure in writing

Who should look elsewhere

  • Files that need courtroom leverage
  • Owners who want a deep public review record

“When COVID-19 hit, my salon suites in [name withheld] faced closure, leaving me drowning in loans, including eight merchant cash advances. Desperate, I reached out to Regroup Partners. My husband and I drove to [name withheld], and in a four-hour meeting, they provided transparent insights and a program to navigate my debts, offering VIP treatment during this traumatic time. Their guidance saved me money, enabling me to sell the suites in 2023 and avoid potential loss of home and investments. I strongly recommend Regroup for their sincerity and commitment, emphasizing the importance of face-to-face meetings when your financial stability is at stake. Meeting them gave me peace of mind to make the right decisions and get my business back on track. [name withheld]”

What complaints and critics wrote

“I was called by Regroup Partners in 2021 asking if I could use help with my debt. I agreed to pay them $1,246 every 2 weeks to help me settle 4 accounts I had with lenders. In 3 years Regroup Partners collected $59,808.48 and settled only one account for $25,769.13. They are now lying on my [name withheld] review saying they resolved several of my accounts and that I only had one more left, but I stopped paying them. In thruth, my personal account was completely garnished of $14,784 due to their lack of communication with a lender that I was told is getting paid. I was devastated and left without any money for my business payroll or personal bills. I begged [name withheld], [name withheld], and [name withheld] through phone calls and emails for the $9000 in my trust fund/[name withheld] account that was set asside. They eventually refused to answer my phone calls, seized my account, and are now saying I owe them an additional $11,000! Regroup Partners are the most unethical, dishonest company I have ever dealt with. [name withheld] and [name withheld] are now threatening a law suit if I make any bad reviews.. well.. the Truth will be told!”

“I enrolled in a debt resolution program with Regroup Partners in 2023 and have paid a total of approximately $92,615 into the program. The purpose of the program was to negotiate and settle my business debts with creditors. However, the results did not reflect the amount paid or the expected [name withheld] account with [name withheld] (original balance approximately $32,094) was not settled until September 2025, after a prolonged period of payments into the program. Another major account with Fora [name withheld] was not successfully resolved. This account proceeded to legal judgment against me in 2025. As a result, my bank account and [name withheld] account were frozen. I was ultimately required to negotiate and settle this debt independently in 2026 for $27,000 outside of the program. Despite paying a substantial amount into the program, I did not receive clear documentation showing how my funds were allocated. I have requested a full accounting of all payments, a breakdown of fees, and proof of payments made to creditors, but I have not received a complete or timely response. Given the total amount paid, the delay in resolving accounts, and the failure to resolve all enrolled debts, I am requesting a full review of my account and consideration of a refund or financial adjustment. I am requesting a full and detailed accounting of all funds paid into the program, including a complete breakdown of all fees charged and verification of all payments made to [name withheld] addition, given the total amount paid, the delay in resolving accounts, and the failure to successfully resolve all enrolled debts resulting in a legal judgment that I had to settle independently I am requesting a partial refund or financial adjustment in the range of $25,000 to $35,000. I am seeking a fair resolution based on the outcome of the services provided and the financial impact I have experienced.”

The company repliedRegroup Partners respectfully disputes the allegations set forth in this complaint, as they are materially inaccurate, omit critical facts, and do not reflect the documented history of this account or the extensive services performed.

“I hired Regroup Partners in late June of 2023 to renegotiate a business debt. They had no success in doing so but collected $15,898.14. The only communication was limited and by email and I highly doubt more than a few hours were spent on this file. I asked for at least a partial refund and they no longer respond since termination of my agreement on or about 10/23/2023. The one offer submitted was rejected and stated no modification to the loan terms would be accepted so there was no point in continuing to pay them $3532.92 per month.”

Lawsuits involving Regroup Partners

Nothing on the docket is a real result, and we would rather show you what we looked at than leave the question hanging.

We searched for litigation naming Regroup Partners Co. / Regroup Partners Trust Inc and found none. That is a finding, not a shrug, so here is exactly what we checked and when.Searched govinfo.gov federal-opinion full-text search (wssearch) for 'Regroup Partners' across ALL published U.S. federal court opinions — ZERO hits (search validated against known-positive controls in the same run), BBB complaints tab for Regroup Partners Co. — 2 complaints on the 3-year reporting window (one 2026 'Billing Issues', one 2023 'Sales and Advertising Issues'), BBB profile (Regroup Partners Co., Boca Raton FL, ID 0633-90540825) — source of legal name, DBAs, owner, and sole-proprietorship classification, Company website regrouppartners.com (footer, address, operational status), FTC legal library, cases-and-proceedings exact-phrase search for 'Regroup Partners' — no matching enforcement action (only the generic 'Find banned debt collectors' index page returns), CFPB enforcement actions listing — 'Regroup' does not appear anywhere in the enforcement action listing; note the site's search parameter does not actually filter, so this is a name-presence check across the listing, getoutofdebt.org (Steve Rhode), which maintains an extensive debt-relief lawsuit archive — site search returned NO articles or lawsuit records mentioning Regroup Partners, deBanked trade press site search — NO articles mentioning Regroup Partners, Florida Sunbiz corporate and fictitious-name search — ATTEMPTED BUT BLOCKED (Cloudflare challenge, 403 to both curl and automated fetch), Broward County Clerk case search — ATTEMPTED BUT BLOCKED (disclaimer/session-gated SPA, not automatable), Palm Beach County Clerk case search — ATTEMPTED, endpoints unreachable/404, Florida Office of Financial Regulation licensee search (real.flofr.gov) — ATTEMPTED, search interface not reachable at the documented path, Justia dockets and CourtListener — 403/202 anti-bot responses to automated access, Beacon Client Solutions competitor list (Regroup Partners does NOT appear on it), Broward County Clerk CaseSearchECA (blocked), Miami-Dade Clerk OCS API (blocked), Palm Beach Clerk eCaseView (blocked), Florida DCA online dockets (down), Florida AG site search (no hits), deBanked archive (no hits), CourtListener web index, judyrecords (terms-restricted). Claims we could not verify, and therefore do not state as fact: “A complaint on record raised trust-account handling by Regroup Partners” (stated in the research assignment; the likely underlying source is now identified as the BBB complaint record for Regroup Partners Co.); “Regroup Partners ceased operations in 2026” (stated in the research assignment; original source not identified); “Regroup Partners operated as a sole proprietorship” (stated in the research assignment; corroborated by the BBB profile's 'Business Type: Sole Proprietorship' field). Each appears online with no court, caption, or docket behind it. We list them so you know we looked.

Court records are public and they change. A filed complaint contains allegations, not findings, and a case appearing here is not a conclusion that the company did anything wrong. Where a case ended, we say how it ended. Where we could not confirm a docket, we say that too. One limit worth knowing: free docket sources show only what someone has already paid to fetch, so a case we describe as open may have been resolved since the date shown against it. Treat every date here as the last time the record was refreshed, not as today. Last verified August 24, 2026.
