Our verdict
Rise Alliance is Second Wind Consultants’ MCA-facing brand, and the lineage is the reason to take it seriously. Second Wind has run Article 9 restructurings since 2009 and holds a BBB A+ accredited since 2014. Rise exists to take the files Second Wind’s $250,000 minimum turns away, which is a real gap in the market and a sensible thing to build.
It is also two years old with no BBB profile of its own. A 4.9 across 261 Google reviews is a strong number and a narrow one, and a brand that young has not yet been through a bad year in public. When a parent company’s reputation is doing the work, you are underwriting the parent, not the entity signing your agreement.
Pricing is unpublished, as it is at Second Wind, and Second Wind’s own complaint pattern cites large upfront retainers. Ask Rise directly whether a retainer is charged before a settlement exists, because that answer decides whether the firm clears our disqualifier list or fails it.
